We bought fresh and dry fruit for more than 130 children living in a camp in Oberhausen. The camp is operated by the humanitarian organization Friedensdorf International. The organization manages the transport, medical treatment, and accommodation of injured children, mainly from war-torn countries. Friedensdorf selects the children whose treatment is not possible in their home countries, the children stay in Germany for a period of six months to two years and are then are returned back to their home countries and families.
