We bought fresh and dry fruit for more than 200 children living in a camp in Oberhausen. The camp is operated by a humanitarian organization Friedensdorf International. The organization manages the transport, medical treatment and accommodation of injured children, mainly from war-torn countries. Friedensdorf selects the children whose treatment is not possible in their home countries, the children stay in Germany for a period of half to two years and are then are returned back to their home countries and families.
